lol... even the small play back monitors, they utilized the diminutive 605!!.. very unlike what they used today...

I saw this years ago, but I always wondered where it (link) came from.

Hi, Chris,

The last page shows the "Lido" model. I found a reference to them as 836As but know nothing more. They must be the smallest Altec speakers shown in the brochure.

Looks like the 811 was pretty uniformly preferred to the 511.

Yes but you are looking at playback, not live systems...

Opposite was true in live systems...

Wow...VOTTs all over the place. I like the second photo on the first page...those VOTTs mounted above the glass window of the sound engineers room, hung from the ceiling....WOW.
